• COVID SAFETY

    We are no longer requiring proof of negative Covid-19 test ahead of or during the offsite. Please note that this may change in accordance with any local mandates at any time, but currently is not being enforced.

     

    Do not board your flight to the offsite or attend any meetings or events once on site if you have any symptoms of Covid, flu, or cold.  If at any point during the office you begin to feel unwell, stay in your room and ping Jamie on Slack for next steps.

     

    Covid tests will be available on-site for anyone who would like one.

  • Hotel Information

    All team members have been sent their hotel confirmation details via email. Room and tax are paid for by MNTN, but personal credit cards must be put down at check-in to cover incidentals. Our hotels for the week are:

  • WEATHER

    Generally, San Diego weather is pleasant in most of the year. May daytime highs are between 70° and 80°. Evenings can dip into the low 60°s, so bring layers!

  • TRANSPORTATION

    We offer Uber Vouchers to cover the cost of your transportation to and from your home airport, the airport in San Diego, and as needed (within reason) around San Diego. Click the link below to add this voucher to your Uber account and be sure it is selected as your payment method during the MNTN Meet. The vouchers are valid May 18 – 21 only.

    Group transportation in San Diego will be provided for the following activities:

     

    Thursday Welcome Party: Provided for team members staying at the Glorietta Bay Inn and Hotel del Coronado loops begin at 5:00 PM and go through 7:00 PM. Return loops start at 8:00 PM and go through 10:00 PM.

     

    Friday Company Meeting: Looping shuttles provided for team members staying at the Glorietta Bay Inn and Hotel del Coronado and begin departing at 8:15 AM. Looping shuttles are also provided for return beginning at 3:00 PM, following team breakout meetings.

     

    Saturday Experiences: Please check your individual confirmation email for transportation details for your selected experience.

     

    Saturday Closing Party: Buses will depart from the Loews at 5:15 PM, 5:30 PM, 6:15 PM, and 6:30 PM, and from Hotel del Coronado at 5:15 PM and 6:15 PM. Return shuttles will begin at the end of the game.

     

  • How Should I dress?

    Welcome Party – Feel free to come as dressed-up or comfortable as you wish! This venue is on the balcony of the Loews and could get chilly, so bring a jacket.

    Company Meeting – Whatever you like! Dress to impress, or come comfy and casual.

    Experiences – Check the weather, and wear what makes sense for your activity.

    Company Party – The Western Metal Rooftop at Petco Park is entirely outdoors, so dress comfortably and in layers for when the sun goes down.

  • Credentials

    Your credential is required for entrance to ALL company events including the Thursday Welcome Party, Company Meeting, and Saturday Company Party. Please keep this on you at all times.

  • Meals

    Meals and beverages are provided at all company meetings and events. Meals are not provided during your free time Friday evening and for lunch during select Saturday experiences. For these meals, explore all of the incredible spots San Diego has to offer! These meals may be expensed within reason.

  • Expenses

    We entrust our team members to submit expenses that are within reason and spend the company’s money as if it is their own.

     

    Examples of reasonable expenses include costs for airport parking or checked baggage, snacks at the airport on travel days, and meals during periods where they are not provided by MNTN (as noted above).

     

    Bar tabs and table service following company events are NOT to be expensed. Please keep this in mind when going out with colleagues after the events have ended. These expenses will not be approved.  

     

    Meal expenses incurred with team members will go against your department budget, not the MNTN Meet budget, and should be approved by your manager ahead of time. If you have questions on whether a specific expense would be approved, please message Jamie, Anna, or your manager.

     

    Following the event, please use the Paylocity website or app to process your reimbursements. Make sure you click on the Event dropdown and choose “San Diego” for these expenses. Expenses must be submitted no later than June 2nd. For questions on the process for submitting expenses, please check the #expense-reimbursement channel on Slack.
